AC and heating repair in Spring

Knowing which part died is only half the job. We want to know why it died, so we test the system while it's actually running and look at the airflow and electrical side along with the refrigerant and controls.

Some repairs are worth doing and some aren't. If we think you'd be throwing good money after bad on an older unit, you'll hear that from us, and then it's up to you. More on our AC and heating repair and replacement for homes.

Recent work in Spring

September 2026 had us in Spring replacing the whole cooling side of a system. We put in a 4-ton, 14 SEER condenser and a new evaporator coil, built a new furnace-to-coil transition and supply plenum, flushed the lines, and did a triple evacuation.

That same month we had a clogged condensate drain in Spring. It took more than one clean-out to get it flowing, and we didn't leave until we'd seen it draining with the system running.

Over August and September 2026 we took an after-hours no-cool in Spring. It needed a capacitor and a contactor, a refrigerant top-off and a new thermostat, and the house was cooling again.

Replacement and Velocity Care

If the system is done, we'll size a replacement to your house and show you the choices first. Here's how we plan a system replacement.

Our Velocity Care maintenance plan covers two visits a year. The spring visit gets the AC ready for summer, and the fall one checks the heat before the fronts start coming through. Members get repair discounts and priority scheduling during normal hours.

Since it's fall, the heating visit is the one coming up. If your heater hasn't run since last winter, our fall checklist for switching from AC to heat shows you what to look for.

Commercial rooftop work

In Spring we're mostly in people's homes, but our Class A license has no tonnage limit, so we take on commercial rooftop units across Greater Houston too. See commercial HVAC in Houston, or request service in Spring whenever you're ready.
