AC and heating repair in Tomball

In summer it's mostly AC units that quit cooling. In fall it's the heater that won't come on after the first cold front. Either way we test the system while it's running, because that's when the weak part shows itself. A swapped part doesn't help much if the thing that killed it is still there.

You'll know what we found and what the fix costs before we start. On older equipment we'll be honest if we think a repair isn't worth the money, but it's your system and your decision. There's more about AC and heating repair and replacement on our residential page.

Recent work in Tomball

In August 2026 we were at a Tomball home with an AC that had stopped cooling. After the diagnosis we leak-hunted the condenser, the line set and the evaporator to find out where the refrigerant was getting out.

July 2026 brought a no-cool in Tomball. The capacitor had failed, so the compressor and the outdoor fan couldn't start. A new capacitor got it going again.

Back in October 2025 we had another no-cool here in Tomball. That one got a new capacitor plus a hard-start kit so the compressor would start smoothly again.

Replacing a system

When a system has reached the end, we size the new one to your house and go over your choices before anything gets ordered. Read how we evaluate and install a replacement.

For upkeep, our Velocity Care maintenance plan puts a spring cooling visit and a fall heating visit on the calendar. We photograph the nameplates and note your filter size on the first visit, so every visit after that has something to compare against. Members get repair discounts and priority scheduling during normal hours.

Rooftop units, too

Homes come first for us. Since our Class A license has no tonnage limit, we also service and replace commercial rooftop units around Houston. Here's a recent 7.5-ton rooftop replacement we did, and our page on commercial HVAC in Houston. When you're ready, you can request service in Tomball online.

Do you repair AC and heating, or do you only replace systems?
